The Low Life

Inside a plastic bag were a woman’s arms, legs and breasts. Hours later, a woman’s head, torso and other body parts were discovered in another plastic bag 20 miles away on Pueblo’s east side.
Mother of three dismembered, dumped in bags : Cold Cases Colorado

This is where you find out if you are as badass as you think. It’s one thing to kill somebody, to shoot them and run, or to hit them with your car and leave town, it’s another thing entirely to to cut the body up. Dismemberment raises the murderer to a whole new level, or lowers him, depending on how you look at it. Most people can’t handle watching a cow get butchered let alone being able to do it to another person.

Only desperate fear of prison, or a complete lack of empathy can fuel it.

At the end of the murder you will have before you a big piece of meat that you probably need to hide out in the country somewhere. Man-sized bulk is hard for one person to transport and is noticeable if you have neighbors, so have to reduce it to fit in garbage bags or suitcases.

I imagine it’s kind of like jointing a chicken. You go for where there is no bone. The torso you can split down the middle the way you would a whole chicken.

The bathtub would seem to be the best place to do it, but if I know it so do the crime scene forensics people. I have no idea what you would do to get all that blood out of the drain and sewer. If they ever had reason to search, they would find way more than necessary to give you the chair. So you would have to drain it into a container that you could get rid of.

It’s all incredibly gross, not for people with weak stomachs. If you have ever seen animals butchered you know that it’s difficult to feel an affinity for meat immediately afterwards. I imagine doing this to a person would make you into a vegetarian. Detectives should bring a meat dish to all suspects. Rare steak.
